Booking a bike demo with Western Bike Company is easy and can be done online, in-person at our Cumberland HQ, by phone at +1 (236) 255-3136, or by opening an inquiry with the from below.

Great question! You’ll have your choice of clip or flat pedals when you make your booking that are provided as part of the overall rental price. Helmets are mandatory in BC so if you don’t bring your own, helmets are also available to rent at a small daily rate to match the length of your booking. We will provide a trail/repair kit with each rental to ensure you have everything you need in the event of a flat or a small mechanical while you’re riding. Make sure you bring hydration (all bikes have a water bottle holder), additional protection like knee pads or elbow pads if you intend to get gnarly and a sense of adventure, you won’t be disappointed.

Yes! We will take a photocopy of your driver’s license or another version of valid photo government issued ID at the time of pickup and ensure we have all of your contact details on hand.

Yes! We take a security pre-authorization on your VISA or MasterCard for 50% of the retail value of the model rented at time of pickup. This pre-auth is not a charge to your card, but it will tie up that amount of credit for the duration of your booking until drop-off. This balance must be available to for pre-authorization!

  • 50% charged for cancelling a single day rental less than 48 hours before pickup date.
  • 50% total rental cost charged for canceling multi-day bookings less than 72 hours before pickup.
